Kheer Patishapta is a popular Bengali dessert, especially made during festivals like Poush Sankranti. It is a type of Pithe, a traditional rice-based sweet delicacy.
It consists of thin crepes made from a batter of rice flour, semolina (sooji), and all-purpose flour (maida), filled with a rich and creamy kheer (thickened milk) or coconut-jaggery mixture. The crepes are lightly fried on a pan and then stuffed with the filling before being rolled up.
